Signature Pinot Noir is a vineyard-driven wine sourced from one of the most cherished micro-regions in the Russian River Valley. Largely comprised of Goldridge soil, a fine-grained, sandy loam formed from the erosion of ancient marine sediments, the gently sloping vineyards we farm also benefit from southeastern sun exposure and cooler climates with ample fog coverage due to their proximity to the Pacific Ocean. All these elements combine to develop multi-layered wines with compelling structure, freshness, and flavor.
Cool mornings, sunlit afternoons, and a long, unhurried harvest coaxed out depth and vibrancy in equal measure. Aromas of wild raspberry, pomegranate, and Rainier cherry drift from the glass, accented by rose petal, bergamot, and a whisper of fresh thyme. Silken on the palate, its red-fruited core is laced with the gentle warmth of rooibos tea, cocoa husk, and a trace of clove. A bright, flowing finish leaves a lingering impression of elegance and freshness, inviting another sip.
