Trycel Alvarez-Pihl brings more than two decades of financial leadership in the wine industry to her role as Chief Financial Officer at Darioush. Born and raised in Sonoma, she developed an early appreciation for the region’s wine community and the businesses that sustain it. Drawn to the way numbers reveal patterns and guide decision-making, she built her career at the intersection of finance, strategy, and operations, where disciplined analysis supports the long-term health of a business.

She holds an MBA in Global Business Management and has spent her career building the financial infrastructure that supports premium wine estates— from enterprise systems and cost structures to regulatory and operational frameworks. In an industry shaped by long production cycles and agricultural variability, her approach emphasizes clarity, accountability, and long-term financial discipline.

At Darioush, Trycel was drawn to the estate’s commitment to quality, brand integrity, and thoughtful investment in people and systems. Working closely with the leadership team, she translates data into strategic direction while supporting the Khaledi family’s long-term vision for the estate.

Outside of her work, Trycel enjoys life in Sonoma with her husband and four young children, staying closely connected to the community and the region she has long called home.
