2007 Late Harvest Shahpar
This rare and extremely limited wine is made only when nature’s good fortune allows the harvesting of grapes affected with Botrytis Cineria (Noble Rot). The 2006 vintage was noted for its long and mild growing conditions which gently encourage the Noble Rot to thrive, allowing the low-yield, dehydrated fruit to develop an exquisite honeyed-apricot flavor profile.

2010 Darioush Signature Pinot Noir * Russian River Valley
Now in our sixth vintage, Signature Pinot Noir is grown in Russian River along the highly acclaimed ‘Gold Ridge’ soil series on Vine Hill Road. We are fond of this locale as it yields wines with the keenly defined structure and multi-layered flavor truly representative of the heart of the Russian River Valley appellation. Equally old world in tradition, a large portion of the berries are whole cluster fermented in open top tanks to encourage fruit complexity and spice-oriented aromatics.

This is our second release from the small, three-acre block of Sauvignon Blanc nestled in a cool pocket of our rugged Sage Vineyard estate atop Mount Veeder. Moderate sun exposure and the cooling influence of the San Pablo Bay coax the grapes to ripeness, endowing this classic Bordeaux varietal with crisp purity and refined elegance.
