POSITION SUMMARY:
The Darioush Client Sales and Services Manager is responsible for healthy growth and maintenance of a complex and robust Direct to Consumer business channel. The key focus is enhancing the client experience by supporting and providing a high level of service to all consumers and members, motivating our DTC team to achieve sales goals, and maintain a high-level of operational and systems organization. This position oversees a small team of front-line, specialized sales and service liaisons.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client Sales, Services, and Daily Operations Oversight:

• Mentor and support the broader Client Sales and Services team with all customer engagements, primarily inquiries regarding recent orders, shipment and delivery needs, and membership support. Serve as a point of escalation for any clients needing prompt attention.
• Delegate and monitor daily task work for the front-line sales and services team, including phone coverage, email inbox monitoring, and specific task work associated with shipment tracking, order reviews, and inventory transfers and checks.
• Conduct regular team meetings to sync priorities, enhance teamwork, and drive productivity.
• Oversee daily order fulfillment for all DTC channels (website, phone, tasting room, miscellaneous) and resolve open orders.
• Hands on engagement during peak seasons, including front-line support, order creation/processing, tracking, and sales campaign recaps.
• Enhance service protocols across DTC channels: communicate with key managers to support consistent messaging when it comes to key release dates and activities.
• Ensure systems and data entry processes are maintained, support initiatives to scrub data for optimal analysis and client list segmentation for campaigns.

Communications + Outreach

Focus on maintaining and re-engaging existing members and DTC clients through a series of service-based initiatives. Examples:

• Personalized outreach to newly acquired clients and prospective buyers– establish direct contact for future support needs and sales opportunities.
• Motivate and train front-line teams to elevate service, reputation, and optimize member purchases in and outside of club, capitalizing on remarketing opportunities by prioritizing personal interaction via phone/email, targeting client/member offers.
• Place emphasis on member retention as well as new member activation. Proactive, personalized outreach to targeted clients and members as a service gesture, highlight offers/invitations, remind on membership benefits, or opportunities.
• Collaborate with Marketing team to develop consistent, on-brand member and general DTC communications, including email blasts and outbound call campaigns.
• Support needs of club operations by proactively scheduling and delegating workloads to ensure all members are accountable for shared timelines and equal distribution of tasks.
• Work with Membership team to drive benefits expansions and continually enhance the value of the member experience. Collaborate with other key Darioush team members to develop and put into action new and meaningful initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate will know and be practiced in the culture of top-flight customer service with a luxury brand. Minimum 2-5 years of wine or hospitality industry customer service is required, minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory/managerial role, familiarity with DTC logistics and wine club administration a major plus.

Must have a strong work ethic, comfort with public speaking, be detail-oriented and organized, focused and able to perform in a fast-paced environment. Advanced computer skills a must: Microsoft Office 365 is essential, with industry-specific systems preferred (ie. Ship Compliant, Commerce7). A passion for wine and general knowledge of the Napa Valley is important. Must be a consummate team player, motivated, and a self-starter.

This is a full-time, benefitted position reporting to Darioush's office located in the Napa Valley Commons. Regular hours are Monday through Friday with occasional weekends, holidays, and evenings as business demands.
Compensation: $80,000 - $85,000 annual salary.

POSITION OBJECTIVE:
The Guest Services team member is responsible for creating memorable and genuine experiences for our guests. Introducing and educating guests on the portfolio of wines while maintaining the philosophy established by Darioush.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Entertain Consumer, Trade, First Offering and VIP guests through memorable experiences.
• Ability to accurately guide our guests through all wine and culinary experiences.
• Introducing the First Offer Membership to improve guest loyalty.
• Provide seamless fulfillment options for our guests to regularly enjoy Darioush wines.
• Accurately record guest information and memorialize details of our hospitality experiences by utilizing our POS and hospitality software.
• Coordinate with the Direct-to-Consumer department to implement updated shipping, tracking and fulfillment options for wine orders.
• Provide timely follow up on guest experiences through handwritten letters, emails, and phone calls to solidify relationships for future visits and referrals.
• Ensuring our Visitor Center and Grounds are immaculate in preparation for receiving guests. Notify management of any areas in need of attention.
• Work collaboratively with all members of the operation. Complete all assigned side work and assigned tasks in a timely manner or as directed.
• Stay up to date and educated on the Darioush wine portfolio, culinary and guest experiences and maintain an intimate awareness of our daily hospitality activity.
• Adjust based on social cues and/or communication to accommodate our guest.
• Maintain a neat and organized workspace.

QUALIFICATIONS + REQUIREMENTS:
• The ideal team member will know and be practiced in the culture of topflight customer service.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of hospitality experience, preferably in the wine profession or related experiences.
• Position involves prolonged periods of standing to fulfill job responsibilities.
• Extensive wine knowledge and certification or coursework from accredited source is preferred.
• Expected to demonstrate the ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Safely.
• Strong work ethic, comfort with public speaking, and being a consummate team player with genuine enthusiasm to share your passion for wine and hospitality is paramount.

Our reception team plays an instrumental role in representing Darioush’s philosophy and hospitality by welcoming guests and members with a charismatic smile making a wonderful first impression. This individual is an important liaison responsible for initiating the service for our hospitality success.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Demonstrate exemplary verbal communication and body language.
• A Reception/Host is a liaison between the Hospitality Managers, Guest Services, Stewards, Culinary, and Concierge team members instrumental in the success of our operations.
• Responsible for connecting with guests ahead of arrival and acquiring all specific details for all teams to best prepare for visits while memorializing these clearly and succinctly in our platforms.
• Review expected guests and be familiar with all notes to create an immediate and thoughtful reception.
• Collecting, recording, and updating all specific details during the reception is key to the success of this and future visits.
• Promote hospitality offerings and the Darioush story to guests who arrive with or without advanced reservation.
• Assist in the delivery of service to the guest as needed or directed.
• Provide informed and curated recommendations for patrons and guests.
• Provide high-level administrative support to the concierge and guest service teams.
• Ensuring our Visitor Center and grounds are immaculate in preparation for receiving guests and reporting any areas of opportunity in a timely manner.

Serve as the liaison between our culinary team and our guests by delivering food for all experiences. The Service Assistant will be in constant clear communication with our culinary and hospitality teams, ensuring the best hospitality for our guests.

• Ability to accurately spiel and describe each dish served in our culinary experiences.
• Utilize the reservation software to prepare for each guest’s visit.
• Communicate all dietary restrictions and allergies to accommodate guest needs with our culinary team.
• Clearing dishes and use table maintenance to ensure the standard of service is upheld.
• Ensure all utensils, glassware and stoneware are polished and stored properly.
• Ensuring our Visitor Center and Grounds are immaculate in preparation for receiving guests.
• Work collaboratively with all members of the operation. Complete all assigned side work and assigned tasks in a timely manner or as directed.
