Darioush Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Like wine, olive oil’s quality and taste are influenced by geographic factors, timing of the harvest, types of varieties/cultivars, and the good care of growers and producers.

Working closely with remarkable olive orchards in California's Yolo and Placer counties allows us to produce fresh, expressive, and aromatic extra virgin olive oils. As with the grapes we grow and vines we tend, our olive farmers are committed to respect and care for the land. In 2019, we carefully bottled two distinctive olive cultivars– Coratina and Ascolano

Coratina is robust, grassy, and persistent with a captivating aromatic profile that is consistent and intense. The typical aromas of grass, green almond, fresh herbs, and artichoke pair nicely with vibrant cranberry and dried orange peel hints present in Darioush Signature Pinot Noir, along with a soft rosemary focaccia bread and green olives.

Ascolano is smooth, mild and balanced with nuances of tomato leaf, ripe apple, and banana. Its distinctive, buttery and smooth texture along with subtle hints of stone fruit make for an ideal pairing with the delicate flavor profile of Darioush Signature Sauvignon Blanc paired with seasonal soup.

375 mL. Both oils are certified Extra Virgin by the California Olive Oil Council. Darioush Coratina Olive Oil is USDA Certified Organic.
