Darioush Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Like wine, olive oil’s quality and taste are influenced by geographic factors, timing of the harvest, types of varieties/cultivars, and the good care of growers and producers.

Darioush has worked closely with several remarkable olive orchards in California's Yolo and Placer counties to produce fresh, expressive and aromatic olive oils. As with the grapes we grow and vines we tend, our olive farmers are committed to respect and care for the land. We have carefully bottled two distinctive and unique olive cultivars - Koroneiki and Ascolano.

Koroneiki is robust, grassy and persistent, with a charming aromatic profile of grass, green almond, lemon zest, fresh herbs, and artichoke. A great accompaniment to flavorful dishes, or drizzled over grilled meats and vegetables.

Ascolano is smooth, mild and balanced, this has distinctive aromas of tomato leaf, ripe apples, and ripe banana. Its buttery texture and subtle hints of stone fruit make for an ideal pairing with the delicate flavors - our favorite to drizzle over fresh herb salad.
