2021 Signature Sauvignon Blanc, Sage Vineyard

Our latest release of Sage Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from three small blocks nestled between 1800 - 2100 feet on our Mount Veeder vineyard estate. Mount Veeder is the most temperate of the mountainside Napa Valley AVA’s, its southernmost location, the marine influence of the nearby San Pablo Bay, moderate sun exposure and varied topography result in cool pockets at high elevations. These microclimates provide the ideal conditions for gradual ripening and flavor development; Signature Sauvignon Blanc shows remarkable brightness, purity, and refinement.

"...hits the ground running with bold notes of green mango, fresh pineapple, and lime cordial...offering crisp acidity and great persistence." - The Wine Independent | Rated 94

A medley of Meyer lemon, quince, and grapefruit aromas lift from the glass, introducing the lush and expansive 2021 Signature Sauvignon Blanc. Bright and refreshing citrus fruits flavors broaden on the palate, lent by the wine's rugged, mountain origins, and are balanced by hints of delicate oak—as if biting into a tangy key lime pie with graham cracker crust. On the finish, earth-driven notes of beeswax, acacia blossom, and flinty minerality harmonize and entice another sip.
