2020 Signature Cabernet Sauvignon opens with attractive floral aromas that make way for an array of brambly fruit flavors on entry—wild blackberry, cherry, cassis and boysenberry.
While the challenges of the 2020 growing season were atypical, our year-round efforts in the vineyard led by Winemaker Hope Goldie resulted in a Cabernet Sauvignon with remarkable stature and integrity, albeit limited yield. A flourish of savory notes abound— dried Sage leaf, herbal incense, spiced chai, and cacao expand on the mid-palate, that is supported by finely-knit tannins. This is lively wine with impressive power—2020 Cabernet Sauvignon is built to age.
