A classic expression of Merlot, the 2015 shows remarkable depth and concentration in its youth, a merit of this shy-bearing vintage. Impressive in its amplitude, polish, and finesse, 2015 Signature Merlot’s supple mouthfeel shows layers of juicy black and blueberry joined with dense savory and spice elements which gain depth and linger on the palate. Cola and dusty mocha are complemented by layers of white pepper, anise, and vanilla bean; while underlying firm, fine-grained tannins reveal its textural polish and capacity for longer term aging.
