Signature Series

2013 Signature Viognier, Napa Valley

Darioush Viognier beautifully expresses the eclectic and exotic character of this varietal. Grown in the cooler locales of the Oak Knoll appellation, with its dense early morning fog and afternoon breezes, enables this rare and finicky variety to ripen slowly yet completely, revealing layers of bright fruit, floral and tropical flavors which define fine Viognier.

Tasting notes

Rated 92 | Wine Enthusiast Magazine "This perfumey white dances in intense and creamy layers of stone fruit and vanilla, remaining vibrant and balanced from start to finish. The generous fruit is grown in the relatively cooler Oak Knoll section of the Napa Valley. This should develop further over time and in the glass. — V.B." (03/2015)

Aromatically inspiring with the familiar notes of jasmine, orange blossom and lime combined with a juicy yet tangy mix of summer peaches and papayas balanced by the crisp acidity of Asian pears and kumquats. This wine offers a rich, rewarding combination of exotic flavors, textures, tartness and intrigue.
