Tasting Notes

Fragrances of lively lemon zest, nectarine, and Gravenstein apple open the 2006 Russian River Chardonnay. A vivid, austere mouthfeel reveals the delicate balance of earthy minerality, citrus fruit and toasted brioche. Sur-lies aging imparts this crisp, clean wine with an exquisite long finish, accented by notes of crθme brulee, graham cracker and clove.
