Fruit sourced from Darioush’s cool vineyard sites in Napa Valley, Oak Knoll and Carneros provides slow, even ripening resulting in wines that balance acidity with gorgeously textured fruit. Relatively cool and dry, the 2007 growing season was marked by lower yields and remarkable quality. Our 2007 Chardonnay is pronounced by impeccably rich and pure citrus and stone fruits.

Tasting Notes

Ripe pear, orange blossom and toasted macadamia nut aromas rise from the glass to introduce this classically styled Chardonnay. Luscious, juicy flavors of Fuji apple and white peach harmonize with notes of toffee on the mid-palate. Bright citrus acidity prolongs the long, refreshing finish that is accented by nuances of grapefruit zest and crème brulee.
