First Offering Policies
Starting a New Reservation
Your First Offering account will be created within a week from the date you’ve submitted your application for the First Offering Reservation program. If any required information is incomplete, missing or incorrect, you will be contacted for an update.
Once your membership is active, you can expect a welcome letter from Darioush and an inaugural package will be shipped to you including any current vintages of the wines in your selected reservations, provided they are still available. Going forward, new vintages of wines you have reserved will be shipped your to you upon the official release dates. We always send an email notification in advance of these shipments, in the event you are traveling or have a new shipping address or payment method.
Changing your Reservation
You may modify your reservations any time prior to the billing date of a given wine release. To do so, please contact our Membership Managerby phone at 707/257-2345 ext. 126 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Membership adjustments made after a wine billing/shipment have occurred, will take affect with the next vintage release.
Placing your Reservation on Hold
As needed, you may place your Darioush membership on hold until a specific date, for up to six months. To do so, please contact your Client Services Manager by phone at 707/257-2345 ext. 126 or email at email@example.com. Once the holding period has concluded, your account will automatically be re-instated and shipments will resume in accordance with the release calendar.
Canceling your Reservation
You many downgrade or cancel your First Offering membership at any time with no penalties, prior to our scheduled release billings. Should you cancel your membership after wines have shipped (but prior to delivery), and you may incur returned shipping fees for the canceled order. Wines that have already been delivered may not be returned to the winery due to a recent membership cancellation.
Billing Procedures & Invoices
As a First Offering member, you will be automatically billed for wines that you have reserved on an ongoing basis, using the authorized credit card on file. Payment is collected approximately 5-6 business days prior to the shipment date for any new release. On some occasions, that shipment date may be postponed due to optimal weather conditions for shipping wine; we will always notify you as such. Please call us if you have questions about your billing statement.
For your privacy, invoices are not enclosed within the wine packages, but can be made available to you via email or fax upon request. Simply call 707/257-2345 ext. 136 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to request invoices.
Shipping Policies & Returns
Adult signatures are required for all packages shipped by Darioush. We recommend shipping to a business address to guarantee prompt delivery. Undeliverable shipments may either be reshipped at the expense of the First Offering member, or the wine may be returned for a refund less any applicable shipping and handling fees. Alcoholic Beverages may be sold and delivered only to persons who are at least 21 years of age. The person receiving your package will be required to show identification proving that he or she is at least 21 years old.
